Covid-19
It is a difficult time for everyone during this pandemic as I work alone I feel I can remain open and still take on new jobs safely. At the moment I am working alone and ask that the properties I work in are unoccupied. I am following all current PPE guidelines by wearing a face mask, gloves and social distancing. I am daily checking the government strict guidelines for any changes.
Lastest project: Norfolk Church Hall Floor
My most recent job finished under the current lockdown is this Church hall floor in West Runton Norfolk, it’s an ideal project in this current climate as I’m working on my own in an unoccupied property.
The heavily used and worn pine floorboards were first sanded with the Lagler Hummel with 36 grit belts then 60 grit, before switching machines to Lagler’s Trio to finish on 80 grit discs and then a final fine sand on 120 grit.
After a thorough vacuum, Osmo Polyx Oil Satin was applied, left for 24hrs then the final second coat was rollered on to leave a lovely natural finish.
